The word ‘halal’ comes from Arabic and means ‘permitted’. Halal cosmetics are therefore pure products that contain neither alcohol nor animal ingredients. In addition, various chemical additives are an absolute no-go. The production process for halal cosmetics must also adhere to the ethical and hygienic regulations of Islam. An auditor and a technical inspector ensure that this is the case. They check whether the production conditions are humane and environmentally friendly. Only then are the corresponding products labelled with a halal seal. Furthermore, the products do not contain any silicones, paraffins, artificial colours or fragrances.

Our products are characterized by an additional supply of metabolism-supporting AKG. However, this is not ordinary AKG, but one of the world's first liposomal AKG liposomes.
AKG is a moisture booster that activates cell proliferation and growth, increases collagen production, and helps prevent wrinkles.
The active ingredient AKG is encapsulated in a phospholipid double membrane, can penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and activate the skin's metabolism.
Scientific findings show that AKG can support skin moisture and the function of the skin barrier by activating cell proliferation and cell growth. An in vitro study on AKG confirms that long-term external application increases collagen production and can consequently reduce the formation of wrinkles. This is possible because AKG can interact with skin cells and is involved in important metabolic processes in the skin, such as citrate and peptide metabolism.

We at QOQO are aware of our responsibility to the consumer and also to our unique natural environment and have therefore opted for 100% recyclable materials for all packaging components. We only use FSC-certified paper (‘Forest Stewardship Council®’) for the outer packaging. Our airless dispensers deliberately consist of a 4-part packaging system, consisting of a lid, pump system and inner container (polypropylene*) as well as an outer container (glass). This doesn't make it easier for us - but it does make it easier for nature! The attractive and aesthetic glass body is easy to unscrew and can be recycled or reused, as we develop one-piece refill elements for every airless product. The PP inner container protected in the glass body can be replaced with the one-piece refill system in no time at all. This means that the pump system and lid remain in use. *Polypropylene (PP) Polypropylene does not release any harmful substances into the environment and is extremely easy to recycle. This and its low melting point during production and low material requirements during production make PP the most promising plastic in terms of sustainability.
